The management board list presented by Toktaş was also approved unanimously. Finally, plaques of appreciation were presented to the previous board of directors.
“I wish the new term to be beneficial for our sector”
After the meeting, İsmet Toktaş gave a speech of thanks to the members, stating: “I would like to thank you on behalf of myself and the board of directors for re-electing us to this position. The trust shown by you, our valued members today, is a sign that we took the right steps during our first term. Stability is crucial for success. The rules of international trade are changing rapidly, and we, as the woodworking machinery sector, are trying to adapt quickly to this change. The WoodTech Fair is just around the corner, and I wish all our participants success at the fair, which will be held on October 12. Our main goal in the new term will be to strengthen our position in the markets we export to and to find new markets. We will continue to work with a collective mindset for our sector and our members. Thank you once again for your trust in us, and I wish the new term to be beneficial for our sector.”
