AIMSAD introduced the Turkish woodworking machinery industry by opening a booth at the Lesdrevmash Fair organized in Russia between 12-15 September 2022. At the fair, where AIMSAD member companies also took part, the participants showed great interest in Turkish machines.
AIMSAD, which promotes the Turkish woodworking machinery sector by participating in many fairs and organizations held abroad, gave information about the sector to the visitors at the stand it opened at the Lesdrevmash International Exhibition Machinery, Equipment and Technology for Logging, Woodworking and Furniture Industries Fair held in Russia. During the fair, visitors showed great interest in the stands of AIMSAD member companies and their state-of-the-art products and services.
Expressing that they had a very busy fair with their member companies for four days, AIMSAD Secretary General Arif Onur Kaçak said; “Russia is an important target market for many sectors for Turkey. As for the woodworking machinery sector, it is one of the countries with the highest exports. Therefore, as the sector, we are trying to increase our existing share here. For this reason, as AIMSAD, we attach great importance to the fairs organized in this geography. Many of our companies have dealerships here, there is an intense trade. Both Russia and other countries in the nearby geography are very satisfied with the machines produced by Turkish companies, the products and the after-sales services they provide. We can see this satisfaction much more clearly in such organizations. We were both very proud and very happy when we saw the interest in the stands of Turkish companies from the day the fair started until the day it ended.”
