The woodworking machinery industry, which has achieved a product quality that competes with the world by making an export attack in recent years, will come together once again at the WoodTech International Woodworking Machines, Cutting Tools, Hand Tools Fair, which will be held at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center between 22-26 October 2022. . Providing a significant added value to the country’s economy with an export of more than 122 million dollars last year, the sector will show its strength with its high technology products and services at the 35th WoodTech Fair. Wood Tech Fair will be held simultaneously with Intermob Fair, which is organized in cooperation with MAKSDER.
Strong collaborations with the Hybrid fair
Reed Tüyap Fairs General Manager Ali Muharremoğlu stated that the fair, which WoodTech and Intermob organized together, was instrumental in the export figures and sustainable cooperation of the sector every year, continues as follows: “We continue our efforts to bring together important companies operating in the woodworking machinery and sub-industries sector with our professional visitors in our two fairs, which will be held simultaneously this year. We are very happy to be the pioneer of hybrid fairs in Turkey, especially with the investments we have made in digital for many years. By using our hybrid fair organization vision for this important sector, we will bring together woodworking machinery and sub-industry professionals in the digital environment as well as in our physical fair, and we will enable long-term cooperation. With the Business Connect platform of our digital universe MyTüyap, we will bring together our target visitors from anywhere in the world with our participants online. I would like to thank AIMSAD and MAKSDER for their support for our WoodTech and Intermob Fairs.”
Last year’s satisfaction rate was at a record level
While 584 companies and company representatives from 26 countries participated in the WoodTech and Intermob fairs held last year, 51 thousand 980 industry professionals from 112 countries visited the fair. In addition, planned purchasing delegations from 22 countries witnessed new collaborations at the fair. The satisfaction rate of the participants last year was at a record level, at 97.2 percent.
European visitors will flock to the fair
The logistics crisis that China has been experiencing for the last two years has brought Turkey to the fore. In addition, the lack of regular fair organization activities in Europe for a while also increased the number of European visitors coming to the country for specialized fairs. Last year, visitors from the Middle East and the Balkans took the lead in WoodTech and Intermob Fairs, and this year, European visitors are expected to stand out at the fair for these reasons. With the arrival of European visitors, the woodworking machinery industry will be one step closer to its export targets with its country diversity.
